I am not a USC fan, but they probably do have the best chance. When you break it down, there are 2 things a team has to have to win a national championship. A quarterback with experience, and a top ranked defense. No team in the BCS era that I can remember has won without that. So if your team's QB is starting this year for the first time, it doesn't matter if he is a SR. or FR. you team has no chance. If your team doesn't rank as one of the top defensive units, (roughly top 10-20) you don't have a chance. That being said, based on USC's talent, their overall experience, and the fact that they are returning a good QB and should rank in the top 10 defensively, they have the best chance. Texas is also a strong possibility, as well as Auburn, Tennessee (Although the SEC is a tough conference) I would have to say USC and Texas.
